Welcome, In the fall of 1982, Mahogany Ridge dog training school was established in Upstate NY. In September 2009, Mahogany Ridge, Home of Team Training, was sold to Jennifer Weis. Jen continues with the Mahogany Ridge legacy in Malta New York under Mahogany Ridge N.Y. LLC, offering daycare, private lessons, workshops, and group classes in obedience and agility. Jen will also be hosting the Fall Adult Camps! and the three, week-long KidsCamp's! My family and I (Theresa Richmond) are settling in nicely. Our neighbors are wonderful and have made us feel right at home. There is much work to be done both inside and out. Patrick and I are keeping up with it so far. We have begun to receive registrations and look forward to another great weekend! Fall in upstate New York is a beautiful time of year to spend a fun, progressive weekend with your dog! Welcome, As I sit here at the computer today my mind is racing as I have only 3 days to prepare to return to New York for a week of KidsCamp! Sabine is joining me on Friday and we will travel together. Our July KidsCamp! was a huge success and other than a little rain, okay, a lot of rain, we enjoyed our time with the children and their dogs. Find our July campers photo on the Mahogany Ridge New York front page! Next week will mark our 29th KidsCamp! since June of 1999! CLASS NEWS Pictured left are Sarah and Fritz. This team participated in our Blue Ribbon Camp!. What makes this photo so special is that the dog, Fritz, traveled from Culpeper to attend! It has been decided, KidsCamp! will begin in Virginia spring of 2011. Check back for details! Patrick and I continue to work on converting the barn into an indoor training room. Things are getting exciting as we can now begin to see just how much floor space we will have! Heat in the winter, air in the summer, ahhh... now that's dog training!
