Trainer Talk
Saturday, April 20 Wednesday April 24
- Andrea Patten Training with Andrea Patten often falls under the category of "we don't know what we don't know" and the session we have scheduled for April is a perfect example. Too many small business-owners first got online when it was expensive and difficult. According to Andrea, the power of free and low cost communication tools is within our grasp! And, having worked in program development in multiple industries, this author-trainer has a depth of experience that allows us to go "off script" and connect trainees with tools they need to move forward in a logical, effective and affordable manner.
Speaking of 'affordable'.... Andrea is offering an Intro to Social Media here on April 20. Come learn how to think about using free and low-cost online tools to help you promote your business or favorite cause. The program is free but pre-registration is required. E-mail Andrea to reserve your space. |

 |
Monday, May 6 - Friday, May 10 E-Touch Course
Husband and wife training team Martin Deeley and Pat Trichter have more than 50 years experience between them. Clients bring their dogs from all over the state of Florida -- and in fact from all over the country -- to learn from them. Training is always designed to provide your dog with the atmosphere and environment that will help him learn and return with a great outlook on life. Florida Dog Trainer uses a wide variety of training approaches and equipment to help your dog learn and provide the communication for control. One of the approaches the pair has developed is
E-Touch
A kind and humane way to communicate with your dog
using the remote trainer.
Why E-Touch over other methods of teaching a dog? E-Touch is a tool and like any other tool it can be used properly or it can be abused. Learn how to effectively teach your dog to be reliable with you off leash and to further develop your relationship with your dog. Read more. |
Martin Deeley is recognized internationally as an outstanding presenter, commentator and writer. He has commentated at Crufts, and for the past 26 years, for the British Country Landowners Association Game Fair at the International Gundog Arena on the annual 3 day event. His commentary combines a distinctive voice and years of experience to add to the enjoyment and education of audiences in an entertaining, enthusiastic manner. He has co-produced over 100 Gundog Championship videos and is featured in a dozen dog training videos.
Pat Trichter's animal training career began with horses -- both cutting horses and thoroughbreds. As both Registered Nurse and experienced veterinary technician, she brings a balanced and compassionate approach that helps dogs go beyond doing what is asked to become a partner in life. She has a great ability to read and train all animals -- even cats -- and delights in bringing families together bonded by their shared love of animals. Pat is a Co-Founder of the International Association of Canine Professionals.
More important? Martin and Pat are trainers of trainers, admired and respected by dog professionals throughout the US and beyond. Take a look at their site to read recommendations and testimonials from Cesar Millan, Brother Christopher of the Monks of New Skete and many more.
